Reuters journalist killed in Gaza

Fighting in central Gaza has killed at least 17 people including one journalist. A cameraman from the Reuters News Agency was killed by an Israeli air strike targeting militants.
Accrding to an eyewitness, 23-year-old Fadel Shana was filming Israeli forces positioned nearby when the news agency’s vehicle was hit by a missile.
Three Israeli soldiers were also killed in an ambush.
The ongoing violence in the area has been undermining peace efforts between Israel and the moderate Palestinian government in the West Bank.
