Russia & Uzbekistan to build new pipeline

Russia and Uzbekistan have agreed on Uzbek gas prices and plan to build a new pipeline through the country. The deals were reached during a meeting between Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and Uzbek President Islam

The new pipeline will come as an addition to two existing ones and will export Central Asian gas to Russia.

According to Putin, a joint project has been launched in order to meet the growing export potential of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
