Russian held over Minsk blast

A Russian citizen has reportedly been detained in Belarus in connection with a bomb attack during the country's Independence Day celebrations. Local media have named the detainee as 21-year-old Vladimir Belunin – a stude
The Russian embassy in Belarus has confirmed that a Russian citizen has been detained. Local police haven't yet commented.
The bomb went off on the night of July 4 in central Minsk, injuring around 50 people. The area was packed with independence day revellers at the time.
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko was in the crowd at the time of the explosion and is personally overseeing the investigation.
