Russian recovery for Chinese quake victims

Russia is to welcome a thousand children from parts of China which were worst affected by May’s devastating earthquake. The students will arrive in July and August to recuperate from their ordeal at the invitation of Pre
The majority are from the Sichuan Province in southwest China.
In Russia the students will stay in stay in Vladivostok as well as in the Omsk, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, and Krasnoyarsk regions.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchau said the invitation embodied the profound friendship between the Russian and Chinese people. Another 570 Chinese students will travel to Russia next year.
