Shoot me! Paedophile's plea to authorities

A Ukrainian man has been sentenced to life imprisonment by St. Petersburg City Court for murdering and raping four girls and young women and raping another. His youngest victim was just 11 years old.
Dmitry Voronenko committed the crimes following his release on parole in 2005 after serving a sentence for another rape.
The prosecutor's office demanded the death penalty for the murderer, as did the relatives of the victims.
Earlier the 36-year-old said he would agree to a death penalty despite a Russia-wide moratorium on death sentences.
