Canada, Netherlands dominate podium on Day 3 of Sochi Olympics

Team Canada took the lead in the overall medals count after grabbing two golds and one silver medal on the third day of the Sochi Olympics. Meanwhile, Dutch athletes performed a second clean sweep, winning three medals in the 500m speed skating event.

Day three of the games also brought glory to the French team, as Martin Fourcade forged his way to the top of the podium in the men’s biathlon pursuit race.

Meanwhile, German Alpine skier Maria Hoefl-Riesch produced a superb display, claiming gold in the women’s super combined event.
