Sochi to open upgraded runway

The Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi is preparing to open a newly reconstructed runway at its International airport. It's being renovated as part of the city's bid to host the 2014 Winter Olympics.
The runway, which has been modernised for the first time in 40 years, is now able to receive all types of planes.The facility is seen as a key aspect of Sochi's chances, with the Olympic Committee set to make its decision in July.
