Steam pipe blast kills at least one in New York

An explosion in New York City has left at least one dead and up to 20 people injured. Several blocks in Manhattan near Grand Central Station have been evacuated.
City officials said that the steam pipe explosion was caused by infrastructure failure and was not terrorism related.
The blast created havoc at rush hour with nearly 200 firefighters at the scene.
