Two teenagers suspected of race-hate murders have been arrested in Moscow. Police think they are responsible for stabbing to death 17 people and injuring eight. Their victims were people of non-Slavic appearance and foreigners.
Police traced the men, both aged 19 and from Moscow, while investigating a criminal case against two students accused of killing an Armenian national.
However, investigators believe the detainees belong to two organised gangs responsible for at least 50 murders.
