Nineteen offices at a Moscow business centre were robbed during the three-day May holiday. An employee of one of the companies contacted police after he discovered office doors unlocked and vaults opened during a late-night visit to the site.
Officers investigating the break-ins have sealed off the crime scene and are contacting all the firms affected.
A full assessment of the theft and the damage done to property will be made once employees return to work after the holiday break.
