Troops rescue Colombian engineer from FARC kidnappers

An engineer is celebrating with his family in Colombia after soldiers rescued him from kidnappers.
52 year-old Pablo Ariza was held captive by FARC militants for a month. An intelligence operation led troops to the kidnappers den at a house in Cundinamarca Province.
It’s reported that two alleged members of FARC were captured in the mission.
FARC is a leftist group that claims to represent Colombia’s poor against the country’s elite and their Western backers. FARC is considered to be a terrorist group by the Colombian Government and many countries in the West, including the U.S.
