Road repairs leave hundreds stranded in the snow

Hundreds of trucks remain stranded in snow on the road between the Russian cities of Krasnoyarsk and Irkutsk in Siberia.
The giant jam, stretching for several kilometers, started after blizzards damaged the road surface, leaving little more than a dirt track.
Repair works then meant that only a few trucks could pass at a time.
Some of the drivers have already spent up to five days on the road in sub-zero temperatures, and are running out of food and fuel.
Local authorities say they have organized meals for the drivers.
Repairs continue around the clock, but workers say the highway may not be fully restored until Saturday.
