Two children injured in skirmish in Ingushetia

Two children have been injured in a firefight between militants and police in the Russian republic of Ingushetia in southern Russia. The shooting broke out near a police traffic post in the capital, Nazran.

The unidentified men opened fire on the servicemen with machine-guns and also threw grenades.

A boy and a girl were injured when a grenade dropped into their back garden.
