Australian police have released one of the doctors who was questioned about the failed bombing attempts in Glasgow and London last week. An Indian doctor, who was also detained late on Monday in Brisbane airport, remains in custody.
So far eight people have been detained in connection with the bombing attempts, and British Police believe they have all the key suspects in custody.
According to UK security sources, all the detainees have links to the medical profession.
Two of them are said to be Indian, while the rest are of Middle-Eastern origin.
Fears of a backlash against the Muslim community arose on Tuesday, as a car rammed into an Asian-owned shop in Glasgow, setting it ablaze.
