Red Square in Moscow is traditionally the place where thousands of troops, hundreds of units of military hardware, top-ranking officials and veterans gather to honor the Victory Day.

This year's Moscow parade is the largest-scale in Russian modern history, with a march of about 20,000 troops.

Watch the complete video of the military parade on Red Square marking the 66th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany.

Russia is a great country, lots of traditions and hero's. I attended the parade and was very impressed with the quality and all the effort making this event so succesfull. This can only be done with a diciplined army and organisers involved. Great job for President Medivev, Putin and minister of defence making this so big event to be proud for. I financial possible I will be there again next year. To the Russian people, you have excelent leaders, stand behind your leaders they are great. Greatings from a white ex farmer in South Africa

I did not find this parade the best. But there are Red Army music and images online. online video of the Red Army and Stalin reign supreme. There are so many you tube videos pasted marches and cleverly edited videos of Stalin and the Red Army in You Tube! It is clear that Stalin remains the hero of all young socialist boys the world over.
