Would-be bomber told Russians of assassination plot against President

New information has emerged in connection with the rumoured threat to assassinate Vladimir Putin during his visit to Iran last Monday. A source in the Russian security services says an unidentified man called the Russian embassy in Tehran and warned that
Three separate groups of suicide bombers linked to an international militant organisation were allegedly trained to carry out the assassination.
The caller said he had been a member of one of the groups but had quit the organisation.
