Mr James Wellamson, first of all, what you called the great USSR was only another way of saying you approved what they did at that time in history. Your telling us that it was okay to enslave all those Eastern countries for the glory of Russia. Mr Gorbachev did the right thing in giving back the people of those countries their own land. At that time, the Communist party only want protection on their borders. All people want the best for any country who is seeking its own FREEDOM. This is why Mr. Gorbachev at that time did what he felt way right. Do you remember the Berlin Wall back in the 60's ? The hold world celebrated with the Germans, they got their country back. If you think that was wrong, then maybe you should move to a country like Syria, and or Nort Korea, or any other rough state that wants to dictate to its people, and let us know how much freedom you have. A while back I wrote a Commment to RT, asking the Russian people not to vote for a Communist President because of their views.  Recieved a great message back from a Russian News Paper congradulating me on the piece. Now tell me that the Russian people want something the Communist and their dictatorship again. The Russian peopl are not stupid, and they know what they want.  FREEDOM.
