Russia and the EU have a warning mechanism to prevent an energy crisis, says Jerzy Buzek, President of the EU Parliament, who came to Moscow to discuss European security, and economic and social issues.

“Of course you want the security of supply, [it’s] most important. We have an early warning mechanism involved and we want to be warned, if it's something like that – a crisis of supply. Not in every case is it possible, and this time it was too late, we couldn't prepare ourselves in a proper way. But cooperation as far – as I know from talking with the President of the European Commission – is good,” Buzek told RT in an exclusive interview.
