Presidents Aleksandr Lukashenko and Hugo Chavez have confirmed their readiness to develop strategic partnership between Belarus and Venezuela in spite of pressure by “enemies.”

The two leaders met on Tuesday in Caracas which resulted in the signing of over 20 deals in energy, agriculture, housing and gas sectors.

“We will meet in several years and talks about new projects to spite our foes and enemies, no one will stop us on this path. That’s my answer to everyone who has doubts about what we are doing,” Lukashenko said summing the results of the talks.

According to Lukashenko, “the majority” of Venezuelan citizens support cooperation with Belarus. However, there are some people, who question it, he added. That is “natural,” though, given the tense political situation in the country as it is holding a presidential election in October.

“I know you will win [the elections],” the Belarusian leader told his Venezuelan counterpart. Pointing out that everyone who knows him is aware he cannot flatter, Lukashenko added that if it was not for Chavez, there would not have been any bilateral projects, “There would be no Belarus in Venezuela”.

Lukashenko underlined that “unlike some others,” Belarusians are in the South American country “as brothers rather than colonizers.”

“You must know…that our state will do anything that my friend Chavez asks for,” the President stressed, as cited by Interfax.

As it is often the case, Lukashenko was accompanied in the trip by his 7-year-old son Nikolay. “It indicates that we are here seriously and for a while: there is someone to pick up the baton of partnership in 20-25 years,” the President noted.

You have a TV in every room to watch corporate lies- but more than 50% of your citizens do not have access to the most basic healthcare services. Cuba came in the first place accord to World Health Organisation ranking last year of worldwide healthcare services despite more than 50 years of U.S embargo. Venezuela and Belarus do not want U.S way of life. The U.S is a criminal/terrorist state and the majority of U.S citizens have been brainwashed. Hugo Chavez gives millions of poor Americans free gas for winter heating—did you know that fact?

The reason people hate our country is because they are simply jealous of what we have been able to achieve. All of you, live like animals and you hate us because we don't. You hate us because we are able to live in nice homes. You hate us because we are able to have a TV in every room in our homes. You hate us because our arm forces are second to none. When you are in trouble, you beg for our arm forces to come into your nation and save you from whatever is killing you. But, as backstabber, you can't wait for us to turn around so you can stab us in the back. Like cowards that most of you are. Do we need you? Absolutely not!Do you need us? You bet.

RT, you are doing a very good job for making different voices heard around the globe! Our mind should not always be preoccupied by all those hypocritical propaganda channels provided by the West, which are buzzing all day long in order to vilify & demonize the countries and the great leader they hate or rather fear. RT, please keep improving your good work, and you will certainly make a huge difference to the world in the near future! BTW, when someone singled out Iran, a muslin country, for criticism in terms of human rights violations, you have to think about Saudi Arabia, a special ally of the US in the Middle East, and ask what the hell it once did to its neighbors. What a hypocrite the US is, alongside the UK, when dealing with their "strategic allies". LAUGHABLE.
