Heads of Russian regions that allow interethnic strife on their territories face punishment under the new regulation.

In yet another attempt to ensure the peaceful coexistence of the almost 200 different nationalities that live in Russia, the Presidential Council for Interethnic Relations has developed a new strategy of interethnic peace, writes Izvestia daily.

The document stresses banning the propaganda of extremist ideas, but also includes serious amendments to the current laws.

In particular, it suggests making Internet Service Providers responsible for hate posts on the internet. The program also includes the ban on mentioning ethnicity in political propaganda, including party programs and election campaigns. Finally, the draft includes the law banning the rehabilitation of Nazism and glorification of Nazi criminals.

The authors of the strategy also hold that the heads of Russian regions must be made legally responsible if their action or inaction leads to interethnic conflicts. A similar suggestion was voiced earlier by Ramazan Abdulatipov, the head of major NGO Assembly of the Peoples of Russia. The activist promised to submit to parliament a bill introducing civil servants’ responsibility for ethnic strife in September or in October this year.

The plan includes the constant monitoring of mass media and social networks by means of a special system that includes public organizations, journalists and law enforcers. The leadership of this organization will report annually to the government and the recently-created Presidential Council for Interethnic Relations, headed by President Vladimir Putin himself.

Other measures include government presence on social media, development of internal tourism and a major check of school programs and textbooks for correct explanations of interethnic relations.

The newspaper quoted an unnamed expert as saying that the draft budget of the program is estimated at 1 billion rubles (over US$30 million). The final draft of the document will be submitted to the president before December 1 this year.

It's a pity.  While all the world's nations are trying to clamp down on hate posts on the internet by Washington's bl**dy sockpuppets and trolls, the U.S. continues its campaign of promoting hate against Muslims, Russia and China outside their countries.  Although occassionally Washington's moles - editors of mass medias - inside the targeted countries, continues their nefarious work.

If anyone comes up to me say the U.S. is the angel, the good guy, I will bonk him on the head.  The U.S. is without doubt now, the Evil in the world;  The Anti-Christ, the Great Pretender, who will bring the world to flames, to Armageddon.  And no amount of media manipulation of public perception or opinion is going to change anything.

That sounds fine, but what it really is is an extension of the "gag order" that are the current laws in Russia, which amongst other things have a ben-over-backwards-f or-islam effect. In fact, EVERY ethnic group is in some way or another glorified yet the ethnic russians are left out purposely.

Th is is another - amongst many similar ones - failed attempt at having many cultures live together supposedly without friction. That's simply unavoidable. It has (the multicultural experiment) failed in every single country where it has been conducted. In USSR however there was indeed friendship of different peoples, but at the same time all those people stayed in their own respective geographical areas and did not mass-immigrate to for example Moscow all at once. Why not use something that has been tried and proven to actually work instead of re-inventing the wheel?
Why not promote everyone to move back to their own republics and live peacefully there? What is wrong with that?

And as for "rehabilitating nazis" goes, that is just another step in the same direction, namely the cult of "great victory". The one "religion" that the state imposes on absolutely everybody no matter ethnicity or religion. Already there have been many deliberate fabrications in favor of this cult, along with fake "veterans" at the parades, this is another attempt to silence history rather than hinder anyone's rehabilitation. Along with draconic anti-revisionism laws this is just a part of deliberate orwellian approach to manipulating society by manipulating history. With this kind of stupidity, along with deep corruption, lack of basic democratic rights, it won't just take a long time for Russia to become democratic it will send it backwards in history.
All in all, a good demontration of complete inadequacy of its entire "governement".

Two peas in a pod... Vladimir Putin promoting an interracial, interethnic, intercultural philosophy and Patriarch Kirill promoting his interfaith philosophy. One might think all this is some kind of twisted satanic psy-op... but it has gone on far too long... and such an evil psy-op is a jew tactic, not Aryan. I wonder if Aryans as well as "Nazism" will be banned from Russia ?
