Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has thrown his support behind a pro-government rally to be held in Moscow on Saturday. The demo is in opposition to the protest march “For Fair Elections,” which has been labelled a Ukrainian-style “Orange” revolt.

“People are heading to Poklonnaya Hill to state their sincere anti-Orange position. I am grateful to them and I share their views,” Putin told Interfax news agency on Friday.

“It will be cold… so I call on everyone who shows up to take care of themselves, to be cautious and think about their health and at the very least not to take children with them,” the prime minister added.

He said participants in the rally could be vulnerable to criticism that their loyalty is being bought by the government.

“Organizing an event in support of the authorities is somewhat different from other similar actions. The people participating feel a threat to their interest, the threat of losing something. But that’s exactly why they come out to voice their position,” he said.

Putin also dismissed allegations that people working in the public sector are being pressured by their superiors to attend the rally. He admitted the scenario was possible, but branded it deplorable. “There is certainly nothing good about it. But I would not overestimate how big a role this factor could play,” he said.

The rally at Poklonnaya Hill aims to showcase the discontent of a section of the public with what the organizers call “an Orange movement,” in a reference to the Ukrainian Orange revolution of 2004-2005 which ended in the ouster of the government of the day. Supporters say Ukraine’s Orange Revolution was an example of people taking power into their own hands.  Its critics, however, say it was a foreign-sponsored coup.

Organizers of the Poklonnaya rally fall into the latter category, and believe a similar process is taking place in Russia. They say the organizers of the Bolotnaya Square rally want to use public discontent over December’s elections to overthrow the government. The draft resolution of the pro-government rally says the “Fair Elections” protest “undermines the very idea of democracy” and “wants to plunge the country into chaos, foreign intervention and violation of our sovereignty.”

Finally, it seems that history repeats itself. When countries with huge armies are in rescission&n bsp;and almost bankrupted, their last resource is to start a world war hoping to emerged victorious from the confrontati on. The logic here is that by destroying&n bsp;the industry and infrastruct ure of your opponents, they will be forced to buy everything form the victorious countries. Thus , the economies of the victorious will be always in good standing and their citizens& nbsp;will enjoy the benefits of the first world. The only problem with the warmongers of this time, who seem to have this logic in their minds, is that they do not see that the world CAN BE DESTROYED BY NUCLEAR WAR and there won't be victorious or defeated!.Oh sorry! Did I say defeated? I forgot to mention the West is building a antimissile&n bsp;defense system to assure VICTORY! But Russia and soon China will build a system designed to defeat the missile&nbs p;shield.

Let me start by stating what I see happening in the world right now. NATO is trying to push the East in every possible way. The only outcome for this push is to anger the East. I would not be surprised&nb sp;if the East lead by Russian  ;and China end up building a strong military allian ce to confront NATO and the West. Under the pretext&nbs p;of spreading democracy or hijacking&nb sp;the name of the international community, the West goes around the world imposing& nbsp;its agenda by toppling the "unfriendly regimes" to the West. They like to interfere&nb sp;in the internal affairs of other countries by using the UNSC (United Nations Security Council), pushing resolutions that are aimed at getting rid of their "enemies". It was about time for Russia and China to react and draw a red line for these disguised interventions.  No country is perfect, therefore I would like to replay at the comment&nbs p;of  REALLY PUTIN? The USA has 40 million people with no heath insurance. A huge problem with drugs use, and abuse. The educational system churning out professiona ls who after becoming really desperate due to the fact that they can not find a decent job turn to suing t he schools where they were formed in order to pay for those huge students loans. The unresolved crisis with the real state market that is crippling the country day after day, and becoming safe heaven for corrupt&nbs p;politicians and bankers who have defrauded their countries and come to take "political asylum", bringing all the money they stole with them to live happily ever after in London, New York or Paris. Just look at at the  YEMEN'S SALEH, CHILE'S PINOCHET among& nbsp;others. What happened with the defenders of human rights here? It seems to me that this equates to the following: NO OIL = NO HUMAN RIGHTS.I am not a supporter of people who want to perpetuate themselves in power. Are we going to have the same "president" for fifty years?, that sounds more like a dictatorship to me. DEMOCRACY IS THE GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE. Therefore, let people chose their fate.

Putin is a thinker himself. Unlike the American presidential candidates who rely primarily on advisors, Putin not only has a tank of advisors but also is able to uphold the glorious banner towards a certain direction and leads the government and nation onto a course best for Russian interest, which the head of the English-slavemasters offsprings who nowadays name themselves "Americans" are utterly inept to do, slowing drowning in their man-made "happiness"...
