Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who won Sunday’s presidential poll, stresses that all reports of election violations must be thoroughly investigated.

On Tuesday, Putin visited the Elections 2012 situations center in Moscow. The head of government was shown how the March 4 voting process was monitored, and spoke with observers from the Corps for Fair Elections and with activists of the project Citizens for Fair Elections.

“There were violations, naturally. All of them must be revealed, cleaned up, and made clear to everyone,” Putin said. He added that every complaint should be investigated and addressed to a relevant agency for further examination.

“I trust the situation will be maximally controlled and monitored, so there is no mud,” Putin pointed out.

For their part, the center representatives – mainly young lawyers – told Putin that far from all reports on election fraud were confirmed. All in all, observers received about 4,500 complaints in the two months before the vote and on election day.

The monitors pointed out they were surprised at the number of statements about violations that were made by the Communists, whose leader Gennady Zyuganov took second place. His supporters, as well as representatives of other parties, were present at the center, “saying that everything is fair and clean,” Putin was told. However, once the election was over, the Communists began to complain about irregularities.

“They are upset. Perhaps it's because of the election result,” the president-elect commented.

The PM was also shown an interactive map that reflects the statistics and topics of all reports submitted to the center. According to the map, the majority of complaints in the section on the presidential candidates belong to Zyuganov.

The KPRF chairman said earlier that he did not recognize the results of the “illegitimate” poll. Zyuganov was the only candidate to ignore the meeting with the president-elect on Monday.

“I believe neither Putin and his team, nor the country in general should be congratulated on this kind of election. That's because everyone loses,” the Communist leader told a media-conference. Putin's refusal to take part in debates, “forcing of results,” and “enforced” rallies bring nothing but humiliation to citizens, he added.

Th man is a fraud. Everyone knows it. You can only blame the west for your corruption for so long Putin.

When I read comments like yours, it only shows your lack of intelligence.The USA right now is going through it's own elections.  If you think for one minute there is anything 'legal' in US elections, you've been smoking your breakfast.
Obama was not elected.  He was chosen.. just as Bush was.  You made your way to the polls, cast your vote and it was tossed or given to someone else.  That's how the USA system works.Your own president is an alien.. he's not even American.  He doesn't work for the 'we the people'.. he works for Israel.  He's built more than 600 FEMA concentration camps to house you (when you finally wake up) and that's where you will be re-educated.  If you choose not to, you will be eliminated. &nb sp; The people of the USA who vote for people like Romney are a joke.  He's being groomed to take over what Obama has started. Do you really think he'll dismantle 6-800 concentration camps if he's sworn in?  LOL... I think not.We (the whole world) knows of the fraud committed in the USA in the last election and this one.  The sad part is.. no one is doing anything about it.  You'll get what you want, but you may not like it.  That's too bad for you.
As far as Russia?  I'm Canadian and I could only wish to live in Russia.  They are not for the Illuminati, Israel or UK.

Putin is the most level-headed operator right now as is the president of Iran.  They don't gloat for media attention.  They don't boast about what they'll do and they don't strike the first match.The USA will though.  The US wanted someone else leading Russia that would buy their 'one world bank and government'.. That's why they are calling foul.

You need to go search your future in the West before you comment.  It will wake u up... that's a fact.
Look at your children in their eyes and tell them what you've allowed their future to become.  Shame on you and your comment.

@ Count Cash and Eurasian, you both eloquently describe your arguments, and I usually agree with them.  I sometimes condense what you have said earlier to help me understand your basic arguments better - sort of a reinforcement for my "short-attention-spa n" style of thinking.  Like most Americans, I was raised on TV and commercials, with their "tag lines" and "15 second sound bites."   So, you guys keep making the cake of an argument, and I will come along afterward and put frosting on it.  8^)    ;
