Russian PM Vladimir Putin has tried his hand at writing. For the first time in his career, the politician wrote a column for Russia’s media.

According to Ria Novosti news agency, Putin’s essay, entitled “Why is it hard to fire a person?”, is set to come out on May 29 in the magazine “Russian Pioneer” in which Putin shares his experience on the matter.

“Sometimes it might seem from the outside that a person should be fired straight away. But I can assure you that things are not always what they seem to be. You should never disgrace someone’s name behind their back, fire or get rid of someone only because somebody else told you something about this person… What I understand perfectly well is that a complicated political strife is involved in such cases,” Putin wrote.

Putin has revealed his way of dealing with employees on the verge of dismissal. “I usually call a person to my office and tell them face-to-face that I’ve got such-and-such claims. If you find them wrong, then please, speak out, argue with me.”

According to the Russian PM, a dismissal doesn’t necessarily solve the problem.

“I realize that people who replace those who were fired will be the same as their predecessors. Some will tackle problems worse, some better, others will be good for nothing at all. Eventually, you’ll have what you had before, or even worse,” Putin writes in Russian Pioneer.

The magazine was launched in February 2008. Its editor-in-chief is the Kremlin press pool correspondent of “Kommersant” daily Andrey Kolesnikov.

The journalist told Ria Novosti that some time ago the editorial staff of Russian Pioneer asked Putin to write a column for the magazine, and he agreed.

Putin has previously tried his hand in journalism only in western media. In 2006 he wrote an article for London’s daily The Financial Times, entitled “Europe has nothing to fear from Russia’s aspirations”.

I find this interesting, it could just as well be relationship advise also if you think of it. I find it interesting that reference is made to the Aggregate of or the total sum of the structure that is to say that overall eliminating people can have a general net negative effect, as opposed to honestly just addressing the issue, and asking the people related to the problem to solve/explain it. Basically communication is the answer, now if only.....

In ancient times, when China was the greatest show on earth, any and all Chinese "Emperors" HAD TO BE A SCHOLAR OF ARTS AND LETTERS, SCIENCES, and every idea of what a MASTER of ALL human endeavors of "genius" is considered to be measured as. The Emperors had to be a master at calligraphy, and therefore, writing, too. Not one art could be sloppily executed or the candidate was not qualified to be Emperor. Putin is very intelligent in that he understands --- to actually be a great leader he must be the master of all human "gifts," which measure the genuine higher abilities to be "enlightened." Thank the GOD of the whole energy creation for sane leaders at least coming out of one great country, for now we HOPE, since the hell on earth is a wanton love lust for the insane who appear too big to fail. Putin paints and he writes. He is a naturalist and indeed a humanitarian. He is a practitioner of martial arts and also "military intelligence." His command for the respect to the arts as well as his honor for the "blade of grass" teaching, is refreshing for all hearts and minds focusing attention and intention into the future for human beings to experience the sincere promise of GOD: UNCONDITIONAL LOVE and therefore, inalienable | unalienable rights on earth ... everyone. Thank Putin for leading the insane back into the sanity of FINE "arts, letters, sciences, etc." Whew, the leading human being on earth can be, after all, not a poly-addicted drug addict and indeed a brain which is problem solving | goal seeking.
