In a robust move to streamline Russia’s military, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin has said the defense sector will dramatically consolidate its operations.

"The defense sector will become more competitive by 2020,” Rogozin announced on Thursday. “It will unite about 40 large research and production companies capable of development, asset management and active positioning [of Russian defense products] on Russian and international markets."

The former envoy to NATO was speaking at parliamentary hearings at the Federation Council.

Russia’s modernization efforts are already paying dividends, as the defense sector now surpasses the civilian sector in economic growth rates.

“Industrial output of the defense sector grew by nearly 1.3 times and labor productivity went up by almost 1.6 times in 2009-2011," Rogozin noted, while stressing that the majority of defense industry factories have “substantial development potential.”

Rogozin made it clear that Russia would take it very seriously if any individual is found guilty of corrupt practices while filling defense orders.

"I think corrupt practices in fulfilling state defense orders should be seen as high treason," Rogozin said at the end of the hearings on defense industries' modernization at the Federation Council.

Meanwhile, representatives of the defense industry present at the meeting provided glowing assessments of the overall situation, especially in the field of nuclear-weapon technology.

Russia is 10-15 years ahead of its rivals in strategic nuclear armaments, Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology Corporation General Designer Yuri Solomonov told the Federation Council.

"Strategic nuclear weapons developed by the Russian defense sector are 10-15 years ahead of what the West or the East can do," he said, pointing to the success of the previous year.

"We fully accomplished our mission in 2011,” Solomonov said. “The land-based Topol-M strategic rocket was developed and put into service…together with the Yars rocket system – the first solid-fuel rocket with a splitting warhead.”

The nuclear weapons designer added that test flights of the sea-based Bulava rocket have been completed as well.

Russia has stepped up research and development of its nuclear weapons technology since the United States announced plans to build a missile defense system in Eastern Europe. Despite early signs that the two countries would cooperate on the project, it seems increasingly likely that the US and NATO will not include Russia.

Moscow has repeatedly warned western leaders said that unless an agreement is reached, it will be forced to view the system as a threat to its national security. The US refuses to offer guarantees that the shield would not endanger Russia.

4th June, 2007. President putin is wrong when hesays that russia should or will target the missile on europe if america goeswith anti missile defence plan in Europe.Russia must target (rather than should) with the  the nuclear missiles with multiple war headsagainst all the cities, towns and big villages( including militaryinstalations ) of england because this cold war -like the  one before- is being started by england forthe benefit of english race only-.it is race war between the english parasiterace versus the rest of the world-the sooner the rest of the world realizesthat better it is for the world.look how germany wes villified soon after fall of soviet union-look howrussia is being vilified immediately after Putin made russia strong.poland is nothing but a proxy for the britishIt is no use targeting poland -target the main villain which is englandand the english race which  must beannihilated from the face of the world.============== ==================== ==================== =======28th april,2007.The foreign policy sections of Putin's Message were relatively brief, but pointed. They continued what he began Feb.10 in his speech to"There are those who, making clever use of pseudodemocraticphra seology, would like to bring back the recent past: some, in order to beable to loot our national wealth with impunity, as in the past, to rob thepeople and the state;

If there is war it should be in the name of the Flat Tax Rate.  Instead of worrying about the final game scenario, Russia should be in Greece converting it to the Flat Tax Rate right now, also throughout Europe and North Africa.  All else is meaningless.... Missles, ships , are all meaningless without a cause celebre!  So there!

GOOD LOOK AT # 7

First and foremost, the population must be taught “love of the Motherland.” The architects of war must motivate the people to bear all the hardships of war in the name of victory. To accomplish this, the Russian leadership must clearly expose America as a vicious and warmongering country. America’s preparations for surprise nuclear attack on Russia must be exposed. To quote again from the text of Soviet Military Strategy, “Hatred of the enemy should arouse the desire to destroy the armed forces and military-industrial potential of the aggressor and achieve complete victory in a just war.”

F rom these excerpts it is obvious what the Kremlin must do in order to psychologically prepare the Russian public for nuclear war:

&nbs p; 1.  Convince the Russian people that America is out to destroy them;

&nb sp;2.   Show that Western capitalists have been looting the Russian economy;
  3.   Say that the United States has designs on Russia’s neighbors, or on Russian resources;
&nbs p;4.   Say that the United States is preparing to build new weapons — in violation of treaty obligations — that will make America invincible to attack;

  6 . Suggest that corrupt Russian officials and capitalist “oligarchs” are agents of the CIA;
 &nbs p; 7. Work behind the scenes to provoke a regional crisis that makes the United States appear in the role of aggressor;
&nbs p;   8.Repeatedly expose the public to official statements that nuclear war is close at hand;
  9.  Increase the number of civil defense drills;
10.&nbs p;   Require the population to organize itself into voluntary civil defense units;
 &n bsp;  Initiate a new program of education on methods of defense from nuclear weapons and fallout radiation.
