The US wants instability in Europe and maintains Russia - Europe antagonism. That serves double purposes. Without enemies the US cannot function and successful EU as an economic block is the greatest danger to US own economy. So far the Europeans appear of not understanding or having no courage to realize the real US objectives for Europe. Time is overdue for Europe patch its Russian phobia for its own and European interests. Russia has every right to participate in all European security and economic arrangements because it is a part of Europe – the US not.
