Saakashvili on his way to The Hague?

A pressure group in Norway has tried to get the Georgian President arrested during his state visit to the country. The activists believe Mikhail Saakashvili should answer to claims of genocide and crimes against humanity following the conflict in South Os
Bjorn Nistad, a research fellow in Russian culture from the University of Oslo, is one of the group's members. He believes Norway as a country, which puts human rights above all things, should strive for Saakashvili’s trial.
“Norway has successively supported trials of former Yugoslavia war criminals. It’s really strange when you send one war criminal into prison and receive another war criminal as an honoured guest,” Nistad said before adding: “There’s little doubt that Saakashvili has committed very serious war crimes.”
