Hot Spot Chad
RTD visits a UN refugee camp on the shores of Lake Chad. Here, thousands of survivors of Boko Haram attacks are trying to get back to normal life. The belligerent jihadist group (their name means “western education is forbidden”), orders its victims to join its militant organization or die. It is responsible for the murders of thousands of civilians. Those who managed to escape, and are currently living in a camp in Dar Es Salam, tell harrowing stories of their ordeals.
