Enduring terror

After a year of identifying the Islamic State as a major threat to Middle East security and beyond, the Pentagon has little to show for its efforts. The Islamic State controls vast areas of Iraq and Syria, and now is exporting its terror further afield. Is the Islamic State here to stay?
