Would American direct intervention in Syria be about justice? Can its purpose be clearly defined? Is this a way to send a message to Iran? And has President Obama backed himself into a corner this time? CrossTalking with Pepe Escobar and Stephen Schlesinger.

Obama says that US credibility is at stake if he ignores Syria crossing the redline. He is wrong.

All of the reason that Obama gives for attacking Syria make no sense. Either his policy is wrong or he is not telling us the truth. Before rushing into war prudence would require a thorough examination all the evidence.

W e need to get this one right and if any attack is decided it must be with Congressional approval, sanctioned by the UN under international law.

Americ an credibility has been much more damaged by the mistake in Iraq. If there is a repeat of that the US will have lost all credibility.

Excellent interview. Escobar shines!! Many people are unaware of who Samantha "I got the" Power's husband is? Cass Sunstein, who has just been appointed by Obama to the NSA oversight board. Incidentally, Ms. Power actually believes that America is a "Liberal Democracy". Where was she during the UN Security Council emergency meeting about Syria? In Ireland. Sadly, she is following in the footsteps of her predecessor Susan Rice as an absentee ambassador.
