From the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to the Palestinian peace process, from the Reset with Russia to the Syrian conflict, the foreign policies of the Obama administration are generally considered to be a failure. And with the Ukraine standoff eroding US-Russian relations, the prospect for change seems bleak. Could these blunders cost the Democrats the White House, and would a Republican government bring a thaw in relations with Russia? Oksana is joined by Peter Rutland, a professor of government at Wesleyan University, to discuss these issues.
