Common insecurity? Ft. Hans-Friedrich von Ploetz, German Ambassador to Russia (2002-2005)

Germany and Russia share a history which deeply divides, but also unites the two. And despite significant differences on issues such as Crimea, the war in Ukraine and NATO expansion, they have managed to maintain a pragmatic relationship. Can these ties help thaw the icy relations between Russia and the West? And can they agree on a common security system which respects the interests of all? Oksana is joined by Hans-Friedrich von Ploetz, the former German Ambassador to Russia and the former German Representative at the NATO Council, to explore these issues.
