China v. US: battle of ideologies

Chinese President Hu Jintao is in town for an official state visit, but one can't help wonder if China and the US will ever truly see eye to eye. Then, it looks like President Obama has a new fan, former vice president Dick Cheney, who is glad that Obama has come around to his administration’s way of thinking, notably, on the war on terror. Next, a federal court of appeals has ruled to allow the CIA to keep secret documents which detail torture at Gitmo. Also, should women be able to fight in combat units? Women make up almost 15 percent of the armed forces, and yet still aren't fully and equally integrated. And, a Kentucky state legislator wants to make all recipients of welfare submit to drug tests.
